I am a registered EuroPsy Psychologist with the European Certificate in Psychology.

Fields of practice: 

1) Clinical and health psychology,

2) Educational psychology. 

I have also an advanced specialization in Vocational Psychology and Career Development, accredited by the Order of Portuguese Psychologists (ID number: 10700). 

I am currently working at Núcleo de Apoio ao Estudante da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa (Student Support Office), being responsible for a project of career orientation "Mapping Your way". 

For more than 10 years, I worked at the Psychological Counseling Unit of the University of Madeira [Serviço de Psicologia da Universidade da Madeira], where I was responsible for counseling and psychotherapy interventions.

Furthermore, I am responsible for developing activities aimed at promoting psychological well-being, and personal development of University students and employees. 

Additionally, I have collaborated for the development of mobile technology for supporting student’s mental health and academic success. The utilization of new technologies and other tools, as bibliotherapy, into understanding better how to promote mental health and psychological well-being is essential for my further research and development.
